Hi, I'm Megan Yamauchi — "Ms. Megan"! I'm an experienced teacher with a Master's in Early Childhood Education and nearly 15 years working with children, and I taught in the Dysart and Peoria Unified School Districts before opening The Tot Spot.
I come from a family of educators, and teaching has always felt like a natural calling. I'm also a mom to two little ones — Luke and Lillie — so I know just how precious your kiddos are.
I created The Tot Spot to be a safe, nurturing, education-focused place where little minds can learn, grow, and thrive.
Hands-on, play-based learning that develops the whole child.
Early literacy, pre-writing, letters & numbers, scissor skills, and art exploration.
Kindness, patience, self-regulation, following routines, and expressing feelings.
Just 6 students, with small-group and 1:1 instruction so every child is seen.
A gentle, gradual introduction to a school routine. Potty training encouraged, not required.
A safe, well-maintained, childproofed home environment with a LifeVac on hand.
Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs, or Mon–Thurs full-time. 8:00–11:30 AM. Aligned to the PUSD calendar.
A consistent routine helps little ones feel secure.
Tuition is split evenly across 10 months (August–May). No payments over the summer!

$150 non-refundable registration/supply fee · $100 summer placeholder to hold next year's spot
